Manjinder has over 10 years’ experience, having started her career as a Pension Solicitor for Reed Smith LLP. Prior to joining Inside Pensions she worked as a Trusteeship Officer for three independent pension trustee companies where she provided advice on a broad range of trustee and corporate pension issues for a number of well known FTSE Companies. This included advising on pension aspects of corporate transactions, together with resolving and project managing complex pensions issues from a trustee perspective.At Inside Pensions Manjinder provides Secretarial support and guidance to a number of major clients.
Life outside Pensions: In her spare time Manjinder enjoys keeping fit and cooking.
Jocelyn is a Non-executive Director of Inside Pensions. Having spent over 30 years in the pensions industry she is highly regarded as the Founding Director of Dunnett Shaw, which specialised in the provision of pensions administration consulting. She brings a wealth of experience to the team and assists the Board with state of the nation meetings with clients. Jocelyn also carries out adviser and service provider reviews for some Inside Pensions’ clients.
Life outside Pensions: Jocelyn can often be seen running through Richmond park and is also a keen supporter of the England Cricket team.
Stewart is our Operations manager. He has degrees in both Mathematics and Computing, has passed the RPC and has achieved a distinction in TKU and Level 4 in Pensions Calculations. Stewart is a pension administration specialist with over 20 years’ experience in the industry. Using his experience of administration matters, he helps deliver project-based work for Inside Pensions’ clients, as well as ensuring that all client work is scheduled and delivered on time. Stewart builds strong and productive relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
Life outside Pensions: Stewart enjoys running and has taken part in five Great South runs in Portsmouth over a ten mile distance.
Joanne has over 20 years’ experience in the financial industry having started her career as an economics graduate at NatWest Markets. She worked in Aerospace finance, Syndicated Loans and Interest rate derivatives, where she managed a variety of client relationships in both the UK and Ireland. After a career break to raise a young family and live aboard, she returned to the UK to join the Investment Consultancy firm, Redington, then in its infancy in 2007. After helping the business develop she moved across to Mallowstreet in 2012, where she worked to grow the professional content of the site and expand its core offerings. At Inside Pensions Joanne splits her time between investment focused secretarial support and general marketing for the firm.
Life outside of Pensions: In her spare time Joanne enjoys long distance cycling and playing Bridge.
Judith has over 20 years of experience working in the pensions industry, in a number of roles. Most recently, she managed client relationships at the Pensions Management Institute. Prior to the PMI, Judith worked for Dunnett Shaw providing consulting advice and running projects for a range of UK pension clients. Judith’s experience includes a number of years working at two major benefit consultancies where she was responsible for the management and administration of a large number of pension schemes. Judith also managed the British Airways Pensions administration team whilst gaining her MBA.
Life outside Pensions: Judith enjoys sport, mainly supporting her son at football and basketball games, but also a regular watching England at Wembley. She enjoys travel and is always planning the next trip!
Tony joined Inside Pensions in April 2016 as Head of Operations. He has considerable experience working in a variety of pension-related roles, including consultancy, operations management, pension strategy and implementation, employee communication and engagement programmes, marketing, product development and management, and technical support. Tony has responsibility for managing the smooth day-to-day internal operation of services for clients and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across the company.
Life outside pensions: Tony enjoys cycling, skiing and spending time with his family and friends. He has been learning Ballroom and Latin dancing for the past two years but is not expecting to make it on to Strictly Come Dancing anytime soon!
Annie is currently Secretary to two large defined benefit schemes. She has 17 years’ experience as a pension professional, the majority of which was as Head of Pensions for a well-known retailer. Annie also obtained the Investment Management Certificate of the IMC (part of the CFA), and is knowledgeable about investments. Her experience includes DB and DC administration, auto-enrolment, closure of defined benefit schemes to future accrual, investment, funding and covenant issues, scheme accounts and audit.
Life outside pensions: Annie enjoys theatre trips, art and museum exhibitions, travel, gardening, keep fit and eating out.
Alex joined the team in November 2014, after graduating from the University of Nottingham with honours in political science. She has passed the PMI RPC and also achieved a distinction in TKU. She was promoted to Assistant Secretary in May 2016, and is currently studying for the PMI Diploma in Retirement Provision. During her time at Inside Pensions she has worked on a number of projects including the production of a member newsletter and the appointment of new investment consultants.
Life outside Pensions: Alex enjoys keeping fit at the gym, taking trips abroad, baking and getting pampered at spa weekends.
Zahrah achieved a distinction in TKU and has passed her RPC qualification. She is a member of our Operational Support team, having joined us in 2015 after graduating with a 1ST Class Honours Master’s degree, and having previously worked within pensions administration. Zahrah provides administrative support to the secretariat team, assisting with production of Trustee Board packs and maintenance of client on-line libraries.
Life outside pensions: Zahrah enjoys baking, taking trips abroad with friends and spending weekends with her nan.
John has more than 15 years of experience in pensions, in a variety of roles, including DB & DC administration, project management, and learning &amp; development where he became a QPA assessor and internal verifier. He has a degree in Actuarial Science, holds the Financial Planning Certificate, and is APMI qualified. His most recent role was as Pensions Manager at Travis Perkins, the FTSE-100 builders’ merchant, where he was involved in a number of projects, including wind-ups, auto-enrolment/re-enrolment, de-risking projects and investment strategy reviews. After an initial start in an actuarial consultancy, John travelled widely and ended up living and working in Japan for eight years, before returning to the UK.
Life outside pensions: John is married with two daughters, and bringing them up in a bi-lingual, bi-cultural environment keeps him busy. He enjoys trips back to Japan and to Europe, and good food. In any spare moments, he dabbles in acoustic guitar.
Andrew has over 30 years of experience working in the pensions arena. His career began in pensions administration before eventually developing into a general pensions consultancy role.
During the last 15 years that developed further into a specialist investment consulting career. This involved advising both private sector schemes and large public-sector funds on investment strategy, risk management, manager selection and a range of other specialist areas. Throughout this period, Andrew was responsible for both writing and reviewing meeting minutes to ensure clarity and accuracy. Andrew is a holder of the Financial Planning Certificate.
Andrew provides secretariat and pensions manager support services to a number of clients. He is passionate about building strong working relationships with his clients and delivering a high-quality service tailored to meet individual client needs
Rachael is a Director of Inside Pensions, having joined as an associate in early 2009. She has over 20 years’ experience as a pensions professional, including eight as Scheme Secretary and in-house Pensions Manager at Rolls-Royce. Rachael is the Director responsible for secretariat services and has a special interest in assisting Trustee Boards with the implementation of complex investment solutions.
Life outside Pensions: Rachael is a keen open water swimmer and enjoys the challenge of competing in triathlons. She also loves rugby and cricket – watching rather than playing!
Faye joined Inside Pensions in 2016 after working in the retail sector. Faye provides IT and other support services to our secretariat team to help ensure the smooth day-to-day internal operation of the business. She also provides support to clients that use our Inside Connections paperless meetings service.
Life outside Pensions: Faye enjoys spending time with friends and family and travelling to new places.
Rosanne joined Inside Pensions in September 2018 as an Assistant Scheme Secretary after starting her career in pensions three years before. Previously, she worked for an in-house pension scheme managing the Trustee Board and providing administrative support to the Pensions Manager and wider team.
Life outside pensions: Rosanne enjoys exploring London, spending time with family and friends and attending fitness classes to counteract her love for food.
Lucy joined Inside Pensions in the summer of 2017 following the experience she gained in two other administration-based roles. She has successfully completed a Level 3 Business Administration qualification and the Retirement Provision Certificate.
Lucy provides a wide range of secretarial administration services to clients and our internal secretarial team. This includes, for example, the management and organisation of trustee meetings; preparation of agendas; the management, collation and distribution of printed and electronic meeting packs; preparation and maintenance of templates for minutes, action logs, registers and other supporting documents; and the maintenance of client on-line libraries.
Lucy’s key strengths include her organisation skills, attention to detail, and friendly and effective communication approach.
Jessica joined the Operational Support Team after graduating from the University of Kent with a degree in History. Jessica provides administrative support to the secretariat team whilst also assisting with the production of Trustee Board packs and the maintenance of client-online libraries.
Life outside Pensions: Jessica enjoys long walks, travelling abroad, Japanese food and spending time with family and friends.
Fiona is an experienced pension professional with over 30 years’ experience – from Administrator, to Technical Manager, to Pensions Manager and Scheme Secretary. She is highly practical and can be relied on to roll up her sleeves and get things done. Fiona has successfully managed relationships with internal departments and outsourced providers and advisers on behalf of Trustee Boards.
Life outside Pensions: Fiona enjoys exploring London, socialising and walking Toby, her pet Shih Tzu.
Kerry has over 25 years of experience in pensions, in a variety of roles, including pensions management, scheme secretarial, pensions administration and project management. She has worked both in pensions consultancy dealing with a variety of schemes and in house.
Kerry’s responsibilities have included the development and delivery of pensions, benefits and compensation strategy; ongoing pensions management services; and the provision of scheme secretarial services to the Trustees. She has managed many projects including the merger of three pension schemes into one, the development and implementation of the automatic enrolment strategy, a review and rationalisation of administration service providers, the transition to new administrators, and the buyout and wind up of a scheme.
Life outside Pensions: Kerry is married with two teenage boys who regularly require transporting to rugby matches and swimming galas. She enjoys kickboxing being a black belt 2nd Dan, circuits, Pilates and Geocaching.
Rachel achieved distinction in TKU and is currently studying for RPC. She is a member of our Operational Support team, having joined us in September 2015 from a managerial role within catering. Rachel provides administrative support to the secretariat team, while also assisting with the production of Trustee Board packs and maintenance of client on-line libraries.
Life outside Pensions: Rachel enjoys cooking, weekends away and spending time with family and friends.
Beverley is an Actuary by trade, but with a much wider skill set, including problem solving, investment training, and implementing new investment strategies. She spent 20 years as an Investment Consultant at Aon Hewitt, and was Head of Corporate Social Responsibility for Bacon and Woodrow UK. Beverley specialises in assisting in the operation and governance of Investment Committees for Inside Pension’s clients.
Life outside Pensions: Beverley is most at home covered in mud on a mountain bike riding around the Surrey hills!
Hayley joined our operational support team in May 2018 after graduating with a degree in English Literature and Language from Cardiff University. Hayley provides administrative support to our secretariat team to help the smooth organisation of Trustee meetings. She achieved a distinction in The Pensions Regulator’s Trustee toolkit e-learning programme.
Life outside Pensions: Hayley enjoys visiting art exhibitions, watching bands play live and teaching herself the guitar.
Lynette is a pensions administration project manager and support secretary. As such she is self-motivated, well organised, has excellent written and oral communication skills and is committed to meeting deadlines. Her previous in-house experience was at Granada, Unigate, Shell and Premier Foods where she was involved in bulk transfers, drafting member booklets, data cleansing and Auto-enrolment.
Life outside Pensions: When Lynnette is not busy providing taxi and banking services to her three teenagers she enjoys going to see local bands in St Albans, eating out and travel.
Kim has over 30 years’ experience in pensions administration. Prior to joining Inside Pensions she was Service Delivery and Programme Manager for the Unilever UK Scheme. She works as interim Pensions Manager and Project Manager for Inside Pensions clients. She is an intuitive change manager whose ability to anticipate, analyse and understand issues gets results. Kim develops constructive solutions and builds strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Life outside pensions: Kim likes going to things with anyone who will go with her…..live music gigs, sporting events, the theatre, anywhere interesting in London, restaurants, pubs etc.
Rita is the Founding Director of Inside Pensions and a professional independent trustee. Having spent 35 years as an in-house Pension’s Professional, Scheme Secretary and Trustee, Rita established Inside Pensions in order to provide truly independent services for trustee boards. She is a strategic thinker with a proven track record and believes that keeping things simple can make things happen.
Life outside Pensions: Rita enjoys travelling and spending time with her 3 grandchildren.
Ryan is a Director and Co-founder of Inside Pensions. Whilst his background is in business development and general management, he passed the RPC exam in 2009. Ryan is responsible for ensuring that the team have the tools and support needed to carry out their roles for clients efficiently. He established and has oversight of the Operational Support Team as well as being responsible for marketing, technology, recruitment, accounting and facilities management for the business.
Life outside Pensions: Ryan is a keen cyclist, a frustrated golfer with a 16 handicap and an ever hopeful Tottenham Hotspur fan.
Alan has over 35 years of pensions experience covering scheme secretarial, administration and consultancy roles. Alan is Scheme Secretary to Trustee Boards for both defined benefit and defined contribution arrangements, and also has experience in the delivery of Trustee training. APMI qualified, Alan has advised Trustee boards on various projects, including closure to future accrual, de-risking and setting up asset-backed contribution arrangements.
Life outside Pensions: Alan is a keen runner and cyclist, and participates in marathons across Europe. He also enjoys seeing his favourite bands at gigs across the UK.
Danielle is a Pensions & Benefits Specialist and Scheme Secretary with experience of UK & International Pension Schemes as well as wider employee benefits gained with FTSE 100 companies and in third party administration. Danielle has passed 8 APMI modules and is studying for the final one.
Life outside pensions: Danielle enjoys socialising with friends, swimming, running and reading. She is also a keen follower of Formula 1 racing.
Imogen joined our operational support team in February 2017 after graduating with a degree in Fine Art and working in the retail sector as a supervisor. Imogen provides administrative support to our secretariat team to help ensure the smooth organisation of Trustee meetings. She achieved a distinction in The Pensions Regulator’s Trustee toolkit e-learning programme.
Life outside Pensions: Imogen enjoys making her own artwork, visiting art exhibitions, and travelling in the UK and abroad.
Charlotte joined our secretarial administration team in January 2018 after graduating from Swansea University with a degree in International Relations and working in the recruitment sector. Charlotte provides administrative support to our secretariat team and also assists in the production of Trustee Board packs and maintaining client-online libraries. She achieved a distinction in The Pensions Regulator’s Trustee toolkit e-learning programme.
Life outside Pensions: Charlotte enjoys travelling abroad, finding quirky bars, and spending time with family and friends.
Ramona joined Inside Pensions with a strong investment, corporate and trustee background. She has significant capital markets experience which brings insight into how investment funds view and assess pension issues; both from a client-facing perspective and as part of their investment decision process. Her corporate experience spans how companies present themselves to their stakeholders and their approach to funding pension liabilities. Her experience as a Trustee has given insight into the whole gamut of pension-related issues, including the interaction and negotiation between the trustee and the sponsor.
Ramona holds an MBA, has passed the Associate examinations of the Institute of Investment Management and Research (IIMR – the UK precursor to and supported by CFA UK) and is currently undertaking the PMI qualifications.
Beryl is currently Secretary to three c£1bn DB schemes and one DC Scheme. She has enjoyed over 35 years’ experience as a pensions professional, including twelve years as Pensions Manager/Scheme Secretary in the banking and investment sector and significant experience of a large industry wide scheme. She has broad general experience across all areas for trustee governance and pensions management.
Life outside Pensions: Beryl sings in a choir which puts on three performances a year, enjoys going to the theatre and socialising with friends.
